Belle or Loribelle has been my nickname for decades. I spent most of my childhood growing up just south of Atlanta. When I moved back home to Ohio, I had a very noticeable southern accent. My friends refered to me as a southern belle and it stuck.

I am a licensed health insurance broker and own Belle Vida Insurance. After I graduated from college, I began my career in this field, but it was brief in property and casualty.
I quickly found myself in the world of marketing and public relations. Then teaching marketing in high school. Then teaching teachers how to be teachers at a collegiate level.
I couldn't leave the education profession completely, so this is not my only job. I have continued my career as a professor at Universty of Cincinnati teaching Educational Technology, Field Service Placement and Public Relations.
As a mom, I have found the most joy. I have a son and a daughter and raising them has been so much fun and oh, so challenging.
My son is at UC studying to become a pilot. I can not wait to take advantage of his buddy passes with the airline he chooses. They all have flights to one beach or another.
My daughter graduated from UC and is working as a contractor. She is also a Cincinnati Cougar, a professional women's tackle football player. In July 2024, they won the national championship.
